EasyPadel

Privacy & Support

The short version: EasyPadel keeps score on your iPhone and Apple Watch, and can log your matches as workouts in Apple Health if you allow it. It doesn't collect, transmit, or sell your data — there's no account, no analytics, and no server.

What EasyPadel collects

Nothing, ourselves. EasyPadel does not run analytics, does not ask you to sign in, and has no server to send data to. The only data the app touches is described below, and none of it is visible to us.

Where your match data lives

Scores, set history, and match state are stored locally, only on your own iPhone and Apple Watch, using Apple's on-device storage. This data never leaves your devices and is never uploaded to a server we or anyone else operates — because no such server exists.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, the Watch app starts a workout when your match begins and saves it to Apple Health when it ends, so it counts toward your Activity rings and appears in your workout history. This happens entirely through Apple's HealthKit framework, on-device: EasyPadel only writes the workout to Health and reads back what it needs to display it mid-match — it is never copied anywhere else, and you can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → EasyPadel. If you don't grant permission, the app still works exactly the same for scoring — Health access is optional.

How the iPhone and Watch stay in sync

The two apps share the live score over Apple's WatchConnectivity framework, a direct, local connection between your paired iPhone and Watch. It works the same way AirDrop or Bluetooth pairing does: point-to-point, encrypted by the OS, and never routed through the internet or through us.

Third parties

EasyPadel includes no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, and no analytics or crash-reporting libraries. Nothing about your use of the app is visible to us.

Children's privacy

Because EasyPadel collects no data from any user, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from children, and is safe for players of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that involves data — the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date before that feature ships.

Support

Scoring on the Apple Watch

The Watch app is built for keeping score without looking down. Each action has its own haptic, so you can register a point by feel:

GestureResult
Tap anywhereTeam A scores a point
Double tap anywhereTeam B scores a point
Hold for ~1 secondResets the current match

Scoring on iPhone

Tap the Team A or Team B zone to award a point to that team; hold the reset button to clear the match. The center bar always shows the current set and game score.

Golden Point

By default, EasyPadel plays with Golden Point: at 40–40, the next point wins the game outright (sudden death, no advantage) — the rule most padel clubs use. If your club plays with advantage instead, turn Golden Point off from the gear icon in the iPhone app's settings.

iPhone and Watch scores don't match

The two devices sync automatically over WatchConnectivity when they're near each other and both apps are reachable. If they briefly disagree mid-match, keep playing on either device — each keeps its own copy locally and reconciles the moment the connection is re-established. If they stay out of sync, make sure Bluetooth is on and the Watch is still paired to that iPhone.

EasyPadel is a small, focused app and we read every message.
